Privacy Policy Valid Vouchers

This policy explains what Valid Vouchers (www.validvouchers.uk) records when you use the website, why we record it, and your rights.

Who we are

Valid Vouchers is run by Ido I.T. Ltd, registered in [PART OF THE UK, e.g. England and Wales], company number [COMPANY NUMBER]. Registered office: [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS].

To contact us about your privacy, use our contact form or write to us at our registered office.

What we record

  • When you click through to a shop: the page you were on, the link you clicked, the time, your IP address and your browser type. We use this to see which offers are popular and to spot misuse of the website.
  • When you search: what you searched for, how many results it found and the time - not your IP address or browser. We use this to improve the search and to show popular searches.
  • When you send us a message: your message and your IP address, and your name and email address if you give them. We use them to reply to you, and the IP address to stop misuse of the form.

We use this information because we have a legitimate interest in running, improving and protecting the website, and we keep it for as long as we need it for that.

We don't sell your information.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web server keeps standard logs of each request: the IP address, the browser type, the page asked for, the page you came from, and the date and time. We use them to keep the site secure and working. They are not used to identify you.

Cookies

Valid Vouchers doesn't use cookies to track you. The contact form uses one security cookie, which stops other websites sending forms in your name.

When you click through to a shop, you pass through an affiliate network, which sets its own cookies so that the shop knows we sent you. Our affiliate network is Awin (www.awin.com); its privacy policy explains how it uses them.

Find out more about how to manage cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it: contact us as above. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
